FAQs

What is the dress code for the big day?

We get it, Malta is hot — but shorts and jandles/thongs are off the menu on the big day. Think linen and light fabrics. Dresses, shirts, trousers, and smart sandals or closed shoes are perfect. It's a celebration, not a black tie gala — but we'd love everyone to look sharp.

What’s the weather like in Malta at that time of year?

September in Malta is warm and sunny, with average daytime temperatures around 28°C and mild evenings. Though it can feel quite hot during the day, a light layer for the evening might also come in handy.

Will there be a gift registry?

Absolutely not. If you’re joining us in Malta, we couldn’t ask for more. We realise this is a huge undertaking for all who will be joining and it means the world to be together in this beautiful place.

What’s the local currency, and do most places take card?

Malta uses the Euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in most restaurants, shops, and hotels, though it’s handy to carry a little cash for taxis, small cafés, or local markets. ATMs are easy to find across the island if you need to withdraw cash.

How will I keep up to date with group plans and activities?

As we get closer, information will be added to the site for day specific plans. Remember to check back for details especially on the week of the wedding for times and locations.
